Dubai, which is home to many of the world's tallest structures, including the iconic Burj Khalifa, is set to get the second tallest building in the world, which will be developed by Azizi Developments, one of the leading real estate developers in Dubai.

The CEO of Azizi, Farhad Azizi, shared the news on his Twitter page. Farhad said, “It’s official: We are building what will be the second-tallest building in the world.”

“My father, Mirwais Azizi (founder and chairman of Azizi Group and Azizi Developments), was recently invited to appear on BBC Persia, where he revealed our plans to build a new tower in Dubai, which will share the skies with Burj Khalifa and other skyscrapers in the city,” he added.

Mr. Farhad did not reveal the name and other specifications of the project, but it is expected to be situated in the prime location of Sheikh Zayed Road.
